Warranty & Repairs Policy – IT Store Dubai

Our warranty policy ensures coverage in case of defects in material, design, or workmanship after purchasing a product. The applicable warranty for each product is mentioned on its respective product page.

How to Request a Repair

If your item is eligible for repair, you can submit a warranty request through the Service Requests page in your IT Store Dubai user account. Our warranty team will contact you within 24 hours for claim validation and troubleshooting. If the issue remains unresolved, we will arrange a courier pickup for the defective item at no extra cost.

Important: For electronic devices that store personal data, please back up your files and remove any passwords before sending the item for repair. The approved repair vendor may be unable to proceed if personal data remains on the device.

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty coverage extends globally, allowing you to receive support wherever you are.

Repair Timeframe

Once the approved repair vendor receives your item, they will inspect and diagnose the issue. If the defect is covered by the warranty, repairs typically take up to 18 business days, though this may vary slightly.

Shipping Costs

  • If the item is under warranty and the defect is covered, shipping costs are covered by us.

  • If the item was purchased in one country and the warranty is being claimed in another, shipping costs will not be covered.

Repair Costs

  • If your item is under valid warranty, it will be repaired free of charge.

  • If repairs are not possible but the item is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will issue a replacement (from the same seller). If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be provided.

  • If the damage is not covered by the warranty or if the warranty has been voided (e.g., accidental damage), the repair vendor will provide a repair cost estimate. You can choose to proceed with the repair at your expense or have the item returned to you free of charge. Repair costs and applicable delivery fees must be paid before repairs begin.

Tracking Your Repair Status

You can check your repair status by following the instructions in your repair confirmation email or by visiting the Service Requests page in your IT Store Dubai user account.

Warranty Policy Terms

  • To process your repair, the approved vendor will require your contact details (name, email, and return address). We ensure compliance with data protection laws when sharing this information.

  • Not all products are covered by the warranty—please check the product listing for details.

  • Repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period.

  • Any delays due to waiting for customer approval or additional device information are not included in the repair turnaround time (TAT).

  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate information during a warranty claim.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions.

  • Liquid damage (spills, water immersion, etc.).

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Use of products for unintended purposes (e.g., using graphics cards for cryptocurrency mining).

Safe Packaging for Returns

Customers must pack the item in its original box or securely wrap it to prevent damage during transit. If improper packaging leads to further damage, IT Store Dubai will not be responsible, and the item will be returned without servicing.
